These beautiful eyes“Lunghi danni” (“Long pains”), the eighth madrigal from Orazio Vecchi’s “Il Convite musicale” (“The Musical Banquet”, 1597), in an interpretation by Dominique Visse’s Ensemble Clément Janequin recorded in 1993.
Not our usual stuff on FYclassical, but I find Rennaissance vocal/chanting hauntingly beautiful… I just couldn’t help but share.
